Our most dynamic format. We divide the group into teams that compete in a series of sensory challenges: identifying olive oil varieties blindfolded, detecting defective oils among several extra virgin olive oils, creating the best pairing with gourmet products, defending their favorite oil before the group...

Mercedes Uceda guides the experience, introduces key concepts, and referees the challenges. There is a real educational component—participants truly learn how to taste—but the competitive format keeps the energy high and fosters communication between teams.

Executive tasting

Gourmet pairing for groups

We combine premium olive oil tastings with a selection of gourmet products: artisanal cheeses, chocolate, preserves, sourdough bread, olives, and other local products. Each pairing is explained and discussed as a group. It's the most gastronomic experience and the one that fosters the most social interaction.

Who guides the experience

All our corporate activities are guided by Mercedes Uceda , an expert in sensory analysis of virgin olive oils and a professor at the University of Jaén. Mercedes is a production consultant for some of Spain's most awarded EVOO brands and one of the most recognized voices in the olive oil sector.

She's not a cheerleader or an actress pretending to be a food taster. She's a leading professional who shares real knowledge with warmth and passion. That authenticity is what makes the experience work for a wide range of people: from the skeptical CEO to the enthusiastic foodie.

Molino y Cata is a member of the Granada Convention Bureau , the public agency that promotes Granada as a MICE destination and facilitates the organization of congresses, conventions, and incentive trips in the city. Our membership in the Bureau reflects our commitment to the professional events sector and guarantees that we meet the quality standards required of activity providers in the destination.

Logistics for organizers

Location: Our olive oil shop is located at Calle Paz 12, in the heart of Granada's historic center, just 2 minutes from the Cathedral. It's easily accessible on foot from any centrally located hotel. For groups arriving by bus, the nearest stop is Gran Vía (a 5-minute walk).

Capacity: Up to 30 people in our olive oil shop for participatory formats. For larger groups, we can organize the activity at your facilities or in an external space in Granada.

Schedules: Flexible. We adapt to your event's schedule, including times outside of normal business hours (evenings and Sundays).

Setup: We take care of everything: tasting materials, oils, pairing products, glasses, cards, service. We just need you to tell us how many people, when, and in what language.

This activity can be combined with a visit to the Alhambra, a stroll through the Albaicín, a food tour of the city center, or any other activity in Granada. If you need help coordinating, we can recommend trusted partners.

Billing: We issue invoices with all the necessary tax information for companies.
